‘ An audience with Ashley Franklin’ – our own Duffield Photographer, has recently published a photo book on the Derwent Valley Mills. Our Christmas celebrations see the return of the Little Eaton Kitchen Chorus (Saturday 7th December) and the ever-popular singer and guitarist Ray Hatfield (Friday 13th).
The Club Social Committee was set up many years ago by members who were keen for both squash and tennis players to get together and enjoy a drink and some entertainment in a convivial atmosphere. We still aim to do this by providing a varied programme that will appeal to all sections of the membership. The small profit we make is spent on equipment that will enhance the social life of the club and, of course, the extra bar takings help offset the running of the clubhouse. If you would like to propose or organise an event, we would be pleased to hear from you (duffsportsocial@outlook.com).
Looking forward to seeing you soon at one of these occasions.
