Importance of being Earnest - NT Live Sunday 16 February, 6.45 pm £15

Oscar Wilde’s enduring comedy features in our next National Theatre Live film.

While assuming the role of a dutiful guardian in the country, Jack lets loose in town under a false identity. Meanwhile, his friend Algy adopts a similar facade. Hoping to impress two eligible ladies, the gentlemen find themselves caught in a web of lies they must carefully navigate.

Quiz Night with James Grindell, Friday 28 February, 7.00 pm for a prompt start at 7.30. £10

A tasty Pie and Pea supper will be served with the renowned Owen Taylor pies – a veggie option is also available. This event was a huge success last year.

The team sign-up sheet will be available in the bar shortly, with payment collected on the night. As usual there is a maximum of six per team.

Defibrillator Training Wednesday 5 March 7. 00 pm

Less than one in ten people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, by learning CPR and how to use a defib, you are giving someone their best chance of survival.

Club member, John Eisenberg, has kindly organised this defibrillator training session, so come along and learn these lifesaving techniques. If you attended one of our previous sessions, please come and refresh your skills. The training is free, and no booking is required, just drop in on the night.
