Book now for this Sunday’s NLT production which features five-time Olivier Award winner Imelda Staunton (The Crown) and her real-life daughter Bessie Carter (Bridgerton). They play mother and daughter in Bernard Shaw’s incendiary moral classic. Vivie Warren is a woman ahead of her time but her mother, is a product of the old patriarchal order. Exploiting it has earned Mrs. Warren a fortune – but at what cost?
Filmed live from the West End, this new production reunites Staunton with director Dominic Cooke (Follies, Good), exploring the clash between morality and independence, traditions and progress.

Race Evening, Saturday 8 November – 7 pm for a 7.30 start, £5
Following on from our hugely successful Spanish wine tasting, we are changing tack for a fun Race Evening. We will watch eight exciting horse racing videos, and you can place a bet on each race for just £1. Winners will receive a share of the betting stakes. Glenn has been having fun naming all the horses and owners, including No Sweat (Duke of York), Never Came Close (Liz Truss), and Passing Wind (Donald Trump) – more hilarity is promised.
A tasty ploughman’s platter will be shared between tables of six (veggie option available – please request on booking form), so gather your group and book now.

Christmas party, Saturday, 13 December, £12
We are ringing the changes this year for our Christmas event with a buffet and a four-piece band. Derby-based Forged in Fire – will play your favourite pop and rock classics so you can dance or sing along. Greg Broadbent (formerly of Godfrey’s café) will provide a range of high-quality dishes for the buffet, including salmon, chicken wings and arancini. All for only £12.
