Lots of fun to be had at our February Quiz, hosted by James Grindell on Friday February 2nd.
7.00 pm for a prompt start at 7.30.
Teams of up to six people will do battle, fortified by a hot supper of pie and peas/beans. Great value at £10 per head.
For meat eaters, we offer Steak and Ale; or Chicken, Bacon and Mushroom. For veggie eaters, Cheese and Onion pies are available. The pies are from the renowned, award-winning local butcher, Owen Taylor of Somercotes.

to book your place, then pay the fee into the Social Committee bank account and we will reserve your place. Our bank details will appear on your booking confirmation. You can book as a team of up to 6 people, or individually. No tickets issued. Quiz Booking closes Tuesday January 30th.
On February 23rd at 7.30 pm we have an Audience with Dr Dave Semeraro, a retired consultant pathologist, who will share his experiences and reveal that there’s more to pathology than post-mortems. See our website for more details and to book tickets

Thanks to all those who have supported our recent events. All profits are ploughed back into the club – bar profits funded the new lounge furniture last year and Social Committee profits funded the new kitchen cookers. There will be even greater calls on the club finances as the recovery progresses, so please keep coming to events and visiting the bar for a regular pint or glass of wine. Current opening hours are 6pm to 8 pm, Monday to Saturday. Please contact us if you have any suggestions for events.
