It is with much sadness and regret that we advise members of the death of Geoff Atkins.
Geoff will be remembered as a long-standing and popular member of the Club. He was a great supporter the Club’s PSL teams during the period they participated in the PSL competitions, and before that in the National League.
He always expressed a keen interest in the affairs of the Club and was never short of advice and suggestions.
The regular Saturday evening gatherings, of which Geoff was a regular attendee, became a well established and much enjoyed Club fixture.
Geoff will be remembered by many of us with fondness and affection and will be much missed.
We send our sincere condolences to Geoff’s family.
There will be a celebration of Geoff’s life on Monday, April 17th at St. Edmunds Church Allestree at 2pm, and afterwards at Chevin Golf Club, Duffield, to which members are invited to share memories.
