We are writing to you in advance of the subscription renewal invoice for the 2021/22 year starting on the 1st September 2021.
The current subscription year just about to end, has seen the club closed for several months and many of the normal amenities, such as the bar and changing rooms, have been unable to open.
During this difficult time, many of our members supported the club by paying their membership subscriptions in full or by continuing to pay their monthly standing order.
This has really helped us and encouraged by the grants we have received, we have continued to invest in our facilities.
Our recent crowdfunding Early Bird offer for 2021/22 subscriptions starting this September 1st was taken up by 130 of our members, some of whom had already paid in full last year.
For those who have not taken up that offer, but did pay their subs in full last year, they will be offered a discounted deal (approx. 30%) for this coming season.
We will also be offering all Social members who paid their 2020/21 subscriptions, a free Social membership for 2021/22. Also, to encourage our juniors who paid in 2020/21, all will be offered free membership for the 2021/22 year.
A significant number of members did not pay any subscriptions last year (2020-21).
We will be writing to ask these members if they wish to re-join the club from Sept 1st 2021 paying the normal subscriptions, either in full or by standing order.
A few of these members appear to have used the facilities during this time.
If you have used the Club when we were open over this last year from Sept 2020 and are not sure about your subs payment due, please contact Sheila our Membership Secretary to discuss this at membership@duffieldsquashclub.co.uk
Those members who pay by standing order but stopped paying part way through this last year, we will treat sympathetically. However if you want to start using the club again, as it is a complex issue, we hope you will bear with us, as we will be asking you to start your payments again as normal.

If you have decided not to re-join the club at the present time, for whatever reason, we wish you well and thank you for your support. It would be really helpful if you would let us know of your decision, via one of the email addresses listed above, and please return your fob to the Club, c/o Sheila Alcock our Membership Secretary
This coming year will continue to be a challenging period for all of us and we hope everyone can look forward to getting back to some kind of normality very soon.
