We are all being affected one way or another by rising prices and unfortunately our club is no exception.
Energy costs have risen significantly this year and being a business, not only do we pay 20% vat, there is also no cap on the price.
Our current deals run out at the end of the year and it is now clear that any future deal will be significantly higher than the last one.
Other costs are rising as well of course, but energy is the most significant one.
Club Subscriptions are due for renewal on the
1st September
and unfortunately for the first time in nine years we need to raise some of our prices to counter our increasing costs.
The good news is that if you
renew your subscription before September 1st
you can
renew at the old rate.
An invoice with bank details for payment will be sent to you at the beginning of August.
Details of the changes are shown below:-
Full Squash membership
, current annual rate £165, new rate from September 1st = £175.
Restricted Squash membership
, current annual rate £110, new rate from September 1st = £117.
Social membership
, current annual rate £25, new rate from September 1st = £30.
Squash share of Joint Tennis/Squash membership
, current annual rate £140, new rate from September 1st = £149.
For those who wish to pay by monthly Standing Order the rates will change as follows from the 1st September.
Full Squash membership
Current monthly rate £15, new rate £16.
Restricted Squash membership
Current monthly rate £10, new rate £11.
Please remember to change your SO after the August payment and it would help if new standing order payers could let me know please.
All other fees are unchanged.
That means, there is still no charge for children under 10, then from age 10 to under 18, the Junior membership cost is still only £25.
The monthly payments for Gym All Inclusive and Gym Under 23 All inclusive remain the same.
