Booking Rules

• Members may book a court up to 14 days in advance.
• When booking 14 days in advance, the earliest time you will be able to make a booking is from 7 am.
• RESTRICTED and JUNIOR members may use the courts during Off-Peak periods only.
• When booking a court, please include your opponent’s name. If you are playing alone, select “Solo Play” as your opponent.
• Please visit the club website for Membership guidelines and information.

Peak and Off-Peak Times

• Peak-time courts are from 5 pm to 9 pm, Monday - Friday.
• All other times are Off-Peak.

Booking Fees

• These are displayed on the booking sheets.

Automatic Light Control / Additional Court Time

• Note that the court lights will turn on 5 minutes BEFORE the start of the court booking time if the previous court has not been booked.
• Similarly, the court lights will turn off 5 minutes AFTER the end of the court booking time if the following court has not been booked.
• Additional court time may be purchased from the MyCourts kiosk, for which you will need to know your PIN.

Member Accounts and Top-ups

• Each member has an account within the booking system and must have credit in order to book a court.
• Members can credit ("top-up") their accounts as follows.
  • Online top-up with any credit or debit card. The transaction will be processed by Stripe and your account will be automatically credited. Please note you do not need to have a personal Stripe account, you can use any credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc). In order to keep our transaction fees down, the minimum online top-up is £24.
  • Members can purchase £10 top-up vouchers at the bar, and then submit the voucher code at the touch screen "kiosk" or when logged in to the website. You can buy and submit several vouchers at a time.

Cancellations & Refunds

• When unable to use a booked court, members should make every effort to cancel as soon as possible so that other members may use the court.
• The court fee is automatically refunded when the court is cancelled more than 7 days prior to the start time.
• When the booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to start time, the booking fee is only refunded if the same court and start time is re-booked by another member.

Guest Fees

• When playing a Guest, members should select either "GUEST £4." or "JUNIOR GUEST £2" as the playing partner/opponent to show on the booking sheets.
• The system will automatically charge the appropriate Guest Fee to your booking system account by adding it to the court booking fee already paid.
